About
I am a transformation and turnaround executive based in São Paulo. For 20+ years I have led performance improvement and restructuring programs across more than thirty countries.
Most of my work has been in situations where results needed to show up in the P&L. I have taken on both advisory and interim executive roles — Chief Transformation Officer, Chief Restructuring Officer, and interim CEO, CFO or COO — with direct responsibility for EBITDA, cash, and the operating model underneath.
I am typically brought into situations where performance has slipped or a transformation has lost momentum. This has included margin pressure, liquidity constraints, underperforming assets, post-acquisition integration, carve-outs, and value-creation work inside private equity portfolios. What usually matters most in these cases is clarity on priorities, real accountability, and consistent execution.
Transformation and Restructuring
In the more recent phase of my career, the core of my work has been helping boards, shareholders, and management teams through complex transformations and turnarounds. These projects have usually involved a combination of performance improvement, cost reduction, cash discipline, commercial execution, and changes to how the business is organized and run.
I have learned that good analysis only goes so far. What makes the difference is whether the organization can actually execute and sustain the changes once the initial program ends.
Earlier Experience
Before focusing on transformation work, I spent time in corporate strategy, M&A, and post-merger integration. That background has been useful. It gave me a better sense of how investment decisions are made, what tends to go wrong during integration or separation, and how operating realities often differ from the original plan.
Working Across Markets
I have worked across Brazil, South America, Central America and the Caribbean, the United States, and Europe. This has shown me that while every market and ownership structure is different, the fundamentals of what drives sustainable improvement tend to be fairly consistent.
